WHAT’S NEW THIS YEAR?

It’s shaping up to be an exciting season at the club this season. There are several new leagues that cater to the daytime, evening and weekend curler. Something for everyone!

Take a look at what’s new this year.

Friday Night – Pizza League sponsored by Mama Rosa's

What are two of your favourite things to do? Ours? Curling and eating pizza. Why not combine the two? This year we’re introducing Friday Pizza Nights. Similar to Tuesday nights, Friday will feature relaxed curling and high fun, followed by pizza in the Patch from a Mama Rosa's. A great way to relax after the work week!

Monday Daytime Curling

The popularity of daytime curling continues to grow. This year we are adding Monday daytime semi-competitive curling. This is an open league where games are 8 ends. It’s a great way to challenge yourself and loads of fun!

Monthly Curl and Brunch

This is an opportunity for the ladies to get together on the first Sunday of each month and the men on the third Sunday of the month for a fun morning of curling, followed by a scrumptious brunch served by Sandee’s Country Kitchen. This fun, social league will give curlers the opportunity to play on teams with people that they may not get the chance to play with otherwise. Fun for curlers of all levels and ages!

Learn to Curl Program

The popular Learn to Curl program has moved to Sunday evenings at 6:30pm, allowing participants to cap off their weekends by playing in their own specially designed league. The program features instruction and coaching every week for the entire season from qualified coaches, making graduates well prepared to continue their curling adventure for years to come.

Membership Options:

Volunteer Discount: The club is once again offering an $80 discount for members who contribute at least 10 hours of volunteer time. Lots of options, bartending, bonspiel setup, etc. It’s a great way to save a bit of money and help out the club at the same time.

Intermediate Membership (Previously Youth Membership): A vibrant club has a healthy membership across a broad age range. However, the club recognizes that there are many pressures on a young family’s budget. To that end, we are increasing the age range of the Intermediate Membership discount from 19-29 to 19-35.

Social Membership: Can’t commit to curling fulltime but still want be a member of the club? Why not join as a Social Member? A social membership allows you to participate in club events and play as a spare up to 3 times.

See the Membership Fee page for details: Membership Fee Page

Volunteers

Volunteering is the lifeblood of this club. Many individuals contribute hours far beyond our minimum discount requirements, without whose efforts we simply could not operate the facility. We try to organize our needs to minimize wasted time and as always, many hands make light work

A huge gratitude of thanks go out to all our volunteering members.
